"Request to Know" Form
Privacy and transparency are integral to ACEA. We allow all of our users to receive a full report of the personal information data which has been collected on them while using our websites and apps. The California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA) made this a requirement for businesses, but the Act only required businesses to offer such privacy rights to California residents. We have extended these rights to all of our users. At ACEA, we believe in putting our users first, regardless of where they reside.
We collect data from users in order to:
- Allow users to sign in and securely access their accounts
- Provide you with the desired functionality of our product by using user-entered information such as continuing education (“CE”) history
- Customize educational and other non-advertising content suggestions
ACEA believes that YOU should be in control of your data, first and foremost.
We will need to verify your request after receiving it, and this will be done via email reply. After verification, we will provide you with a comprehensive report detailing all of the personal information that we have collected on you. This will include informing you which of the CCPA’s eleven “Personal Information” categories the data falls under.
